Abstract

We record for the first time in this note, the presence of the peregrine shrimp Metapenaeus stebbingi in Tunisia. This lesseptian species was observed in two samples of the speckled shrimp Metapenaeus monoceros landed in Sfax port (Southern East of Tunisia).
