Analyse de l'âge, de la croissance et des captures des thons rouges (Thunnus thynnus ) et des thonines (Euthynnus alleteratus L.) pêchés dans les eaux tunisiennes

Abstract

The study of age and growth of bluefin Thunnus thynnus and little tuna Euthynnus alleteratus have allowed the demographic analysis of Sidi Daoud and Monastir tuna catches (1970 to 1983). The percentage variation of catches according to the age groups indicates that one common stock of little tuna is being caught. However, for bluefin it seems that older and larger Atlantic tuna is landed at Sidi Daoud, while younger and smaller (probably from Mediterranean origin) is caught in Monastir.
