Abstract

Description of a new species of Microcotylidae belonging to genus Aspinatrium Yamaguti, 1963 (Monogenea, Polypisthocotylea). This parasite is found to have a marked protandric hermaphrodisme. The gyrodactyloid larva, obtained experimentally, is typical of the Microcotylidae.
