Abstract

Age and growth study of bogues (Boops boops ) in Tunisian coasts by otolith and scale reading has revealed that the first sexual maturity age is between the thirteenth and fifteenth months after birth; linear and weight growth of females exceeds males slightly during the first four years of life.
