Sexualité et reproduction des espèces du genre Trachurus Rafinesque, 1810 des côtes tunisiennes (Poissons, Teleosteens, Carangidae)

Abstract

We present in this paper a study on the reproduction of T.trachurus and T.mediterraneus from tunisian coasts. We are interested especially in the determination of the spawning season, the first sexual maturity and the fecundity. The study of the sexual cycle is based on the evolution of the nucleoplasmic ratio. The determination of this ratio and the measurements of ovocyte diameters are based on histologic sections gonads. The fecundity of T.trachurus being complicated by ovocytes resorption before and after laying, hence we determined relative and partial fecundities.
