In this work, conducted in the INSTOP hatchery at Ghar El Melh, the results are given of the culture of small volumes of phytoplankton in an air-conditioned room. As opposed to culture of large volumes, subject to climatic variations, this technique allows the control of physico-chemical parameters (light, temperature, mineral salts) and the production of high algal densities in a short lapse of time.
