Abstract

This study was conducted in Bizerte lake (Tunisia) between April and July of 1998. It concerns Gracilaria verrucosa culture with 3 techniques in order to determine the best one. After 58 days, the sand pudding method gave the best result with reference of average weight (1205 g), % of recuperation of the tuft (90 %), final density (2,7 kg/m super(2)) and specific growth rate (3,100).
