The use control of some chemical products susceptible to adulterate water quality is based on their toxicity and biodegradation. This work examines teepol, neocide and bichlorure of mercury toxicity decrease with time on Dicentrarchus labrax and Chelon labrosus . The inactivation begins with latence period to induce the bacterial enzymes synthesis indispensable for the degradation. After this period the biodegradation is very quickly for the teepol (3 days) and longer for bichlorure of mercury (7 days) and neocide (12 days).
