Abstract

The objective of this study is the analysis of economic performance of the fleet of shrimp fishery Penaeus kerathurus based on the following indicators: turnover, invested capital, gross and net profits, the rate of return that comes in two scenarios and the value added generated by this fleet. The results showed a positive gross profit for all segments of the fleet. By including depreciation, several changes were noted in particular for groups of benthic trawlers.
