Abstract

The upper and the lower teeth of Scyliorhinus canicula are similar in each jaw, short, broad and have many cusps. The teeth are broader in the males that in the females. The teeth count is 39-51/36-50 for males and 40-58/38-50 for females from Tunisian coasts.
