Fecundity of cuttlefish Sepia officinalis is studied in the gulf of Tunis by many methods. From the relationships established between absolute fecundity and some number of biological parameters, the best correlations are obtained with the reproductive organs. Considered by size class and by sex the length and the number of sexual products increase as a function to size but less distinctly with large classes. The global fecundity relating to the egg-laying season is also estimated.
