The study of ectoparasites of 550 teleost fish belonging to 8 different species from Tabarka region allowed us to collect 4 species of copepods, 3 species of isopods, one species of Hirudinae and two species of Monogeneans. The identification and description of the different parasite species allowed us to describe for the first time new host-parasite associations. In addition, this work allowed us to report for the first time in the world the infestation of Mullus surmuletus by Microcotyle sp and Spicara smaris by Ceratothoa oestroides. It is also the first mention in the world of Pontobdella muricata on Sciaena umbra and Phycis phycis.
