In Tunisia, the fishery of the spiny lobster Palinurus elephas is mentioned as being in its optimum of exploitation or in state of biologic overexploitation. Therefore we suggest in this work studying socio economically the flotilla which exploits it. Our study shows that the flotilla which exploits the lobster is not in balance and it can be divided into two categories. The first category possesses an economic and financial profitability more raised than the 2nd one, which represents 74.5 % of units registered on the fishing in lobsters and which possesses weak profitability even negative.
