Two species of Mugil: Mugil (Liza) auratus Risso and Mugil (Liza) saliens Risso were subjected to progressive anoxie to dertermine the critical and lethal percentage of dissolved oxygen. The prelimary results showed that the values are essentially the same for the two species.
