Abstract

Eighty-four animals and 15 plant species are identified in the benthos of Ghar El Melh Lagoon. Spatial distribution and association of these organisms are the reflect of the physical and chemical conditions of the water. The euryhaline biocenosis covers the most part of the lagoon.
