Abstract

In the lagoons area of the north of Tunisia (North lake of Tunis , lake Bizerte), Dinophysis sacculus, Dinophysis acuminata and Dinophysis rotundata were particularly detected during November until march. Dinoflagellate peaks characterised by monospecific blooms attributed to Gymnodinium nagasakiense and Prorocentrum minimum were respectively recorded in B1 and B2 sites (Menzel Jmil and Faroua). In the North lake of Tunis and the Chanel of Tunis, dinoflagellate density with blooms of Gyrodinium impudicum (T2) and Gymnodinium sanguineum (T1) were the highest during august month.
