In this study, we evaluated the metallic contamination of superficial sediments of the littoral coast of the region of El Jadida and Oum Rbia estuary of the city of Azemmour (Tunisia). The results allowed an estimation of the concentrations in Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn, Pb and Cd in sediments and gave in continuation an idea as to their distribution in the various studied sites. The concentrations determined in superficial sediments present generally values lower than those resulting from other geographic areas.
