Two females of Siganus rivulatus (Forsskål, 1775) were captured by spearfishing on the 22 of December 2013 in the coastal waters of Monastir. Considerate as a first in this region, this signalization evokes more hypotheses on the origins of this capture such as Ballast water ecc. The measurements carried out shows a slight difference in size and weight between the two specimens who have reached the size of the first maturity. Examination of the stomach contents shows the presence of seaweed debris hardly identifiable. This presence accompanied by the appearance of several aliens seaweed and animals in captured area raises several questions on the future of this environment, especially the algal flora and the herbivorous species in case of permanent establishment of Siganus population.
