Abstract

A specimen of Cynoglossus browni Chabanaud, 1949, is found on the stalls of fishmongers in the city of Bizerte in Marsh 2016 (North of Tunisia). Up to this date; such species is commonly found in eastern Atlantic Ocean off the West African coast. We document its occurrence for the first time in the Mediterranean Sea and in Tunisian waters.
