Contribution à l ’étude du compostage de plantes marines en vue de la préparation d’un amendement organique et d’un substrat horticole

Abstract

A compost of Posidonia oceanica leaves was prepared to be used as a horticultural substratum and as an organic amendment. The physical properties of this compost stimulated good root development, and to maintain plant growth and development fertilizers should be added. Chemical analysis revealed similar components of the same structure as those detected in decomposed organic manure, which can explain its good behavior when used as an organic amendment.
